The impact of COVID on our lives has been widespread. Many people who have suffered job loss might find that a new career path in a booming Nova Scotia construction market is the right adaptation to make. The federal and provincial government have numerous tools to assist those individuals. This presentation will provide the audience with details on the process of becoming an apprentice and the resources they need to succeed. This presentation has useful information for men and women. There is additional funding available for women who are joining one of the trades where women are under-represented.
Presented by Bill Gregory - Citizen Services Specialist, Service Canada and Christian Maguire - Apprenticeship Co-Ordinator, Apprenticeship Nova Scotia. They will discuss the Red Seal program itself, Apprentice Incentive Grants, loans, tax incentives, and more!
