Middleton's Art Wall, December , 2020

The Rosa M. Harvey Middleton & Area Library would like to welcome local art enthusiasts to visit and view our art display featuring and promoting local artists in our area. For the month of December, we are featuring the artwork of Bridgetown's Kiara Amy.

At the age of 21, Kiara has become accustomed to having art be a part of her being. She started discovering art at a young age. As did her sister, mother and grandmother. Art was never taught to her family, but merely discovered and self taught.

Her relationship with art has been met with many ups and downs. Her disapproval of due dates and deadlines did not prove well during her classes or commission works. However, Kiara has spent the last year rebuilding her relationship with art, while trying to find herself as an artist again. While not knowing for sure what her style of art is, Kiara's collection of charcoal and watercolors certainly speak for themselves.

Kiara's work will be on display at the Rosa M. Harvey Middleton and Area Library until the end of December.
