Middleton's Art Wall, July, 2021

The Rosa M. Harvey Middleton & Area Library would like to welcome local art enthusiasts to visit and view our art display featuring and promoting local artists in our area.

For the month of July we are featuring the work of local artist Manon Mahar.

Manon is a self taught artist who paints using only nail polish and the applicator brushes that come with the bottles. She discovered this passion at the beginning of the pandemic while looking for a way to relieve stress and escape the happenings in the world.

Manon started with old bottles of recycled nail polish and a few rocks, then moved to metal and wooden surfaces, and is now using stretched canvas. She loves how the medium of nail polish makes her work shine and sparkle in the light.

Manon's work will be on display at the Rosa M. Harvey Middleton and Area Library until the end of July. Her business cards and facebook page information can be found at the circulation desk. We encourage you all to come view her one-of-a-kind art.
