Middleton's Art Wall, November, 2020

The Rosa M. Harvey Middleton & Area Library would like to welcome local art enthusiasts to visit and view our art display featuring and promoting local artists in our area. For the month of November, we are featuring the artwork of Middleton's Angela Armstrong.
Angela grew up in Nictaux Falls, where she became interested in art in the 3rd grade. Here she won a fire prevention poster contest with the prize of a $20 bill. Shortly after this, she was introduced to the art of Maud Lewis. Her inspiration soared and she became mesmerized by the art. At age 16 she bought her first paint brush and a bottle of paint. After painting her first flower, the rest fell into place.
Angela is now blessed with a loving husband, three beautiful children and the faith and love for her religion. All of these blessings are expressed throughout her work. Her artwork is for sale through her Facebook page, or in her retail space by appointment. Contact information can be found at the Middleton branch.
Angela's work will be on display at the Rosa M. Harvey Middleton and Area Library until the end of November.
