Qigong ('chee-gong') is a gentle moving meditation suitable for all fitness levels.
Participants will warm up with some Dao Yin Fa, or self-massage techniques, before playing the Eight Pieces of Silk Brocade.
This set of movements coupled with the breath helps gently stretch the muscles and fascia, improves blood and lymph circulation, and calms the spirit.
Kenton Sefcik has over 25 years of Chinese martial arts experience and 12 years as an acupuncturist and Chinese medicine practitioner.
