This talk given by Dr Elaine Campbell will help parents and caregivers better understand what is happening when a child is anxious, and how anxious feelings can result in thoughts and behaviours that often are puzzling, worrisome, or problematic. There will be discussion on both helpful and unhelpful ways that parents and caregivers can modify the environment, their own reactions, and help the child cope with and better control his or her anxiety.
