Everyone is welcome to  the Winter 2019 Speaker Series sponsored by The Friends of the Annapolis Royal Library.

February 10:

"It Began in a Library" with author Joan Francuz. Hear Joan Francuz read from her entertaining and often humorous new book, "Press Enter to Continue: Scribes from Babylon to Silicon" and talk about the history of technical writing and her own experiences with libraries and with internet publishing.

March 24:

"Invasive Insects and You" with Keji biologist Matt Smith. For all arborists, gardeners and bug fanatics. Come and hear about the current invasive bug species threatening our yards and woods. You've got the bugs, we've got the ant sir.

April 14: 

"We Rise Again: The Story Behind the Big Green Painting at the New Library", with artist Wayne Boucher. We will meet in front of the painting in the Commons of the new Library.
