Canadian Headstones - A voluntary site where you can search and/or upload gravestone information. Provincial searches are broken down by county and region. Ireland and USA are also included. This site is in the beginning stages and is seeking volunteers to help with the process of making digital records of the gravestones in Canada.

Provides a portal to share genealogical information with others. A perfect place to start your family history research.

Nova Scotia Archives - A provincial heritage institution dedicated to promoting and providing access to Nova Scotia's documentary heritage. Search archival records of the Government of Nova Scotia, private records, many local interest online databases, virtual exhibits that include Nova Scotia and the Sea and much more.

Nova Scotia GenWeb Project - The Nova Scotia component of the Canadian GenWeb project. This site includes vital records, cemetery listings and census records for the various counties in Nova Scotia. Also provides links to other databases, passenger lists, directories and mailing lists.

Nova Scotia Historical Vital Statistics - A great new resource for genealogical research. Contains a searchable database containing one million names and the ability to view the actual record in digitized form.

Nova Scotia Parish Records Microfilm Database - Church records, especially the registers of baptisms, marriages and burials, are perhaps the single most important source for the personal and family-based information needed in genealogical research and community history. The largest collection of these church records within Nova Scotia, available in one central repository, is the microfilm research collection held at Nova Scotia Archives and Records Management (Halifax, NS).

The Nova Scotia Genealogy Network Association - Formed to provide access to and promote genealogical resources pertaining to Nova Scotia and support the efforts of the local and county historical societies in the province.
