Come to the Library as a family and explore the STEM kits that are available for this limited time. These are designed for ages 8 and up (children must be accompanied by an adult). With this self-led program you can use one or all of these kits. We have 4 different kits, each of which can be used by 4 to 8 people: Snap Circuit Extreme kits have over 750 projects for you to explore. Turing Tumble is a new type of game where players (ages 8+) build mechanical computers powered by marbles to solve logic puzzles. It's fun, addicting, easy-to-learn, and while you're playing, you discover how computers "think". Our WeDo LEGO Robotics Construction kits are so much fun. Each kit has 12 possible projects you can build. EV3 Mindstorm Robotics, enjoy the endless building and programming possibilities. Visit often to explore all of the possibilities. Registration is not required, just drop in and enjoy.

The first days of spring have arrived. Gardeners, rejoice! Start the season early by learning how to force bulbs indoors. Drop into the library to plant a bulb, then take it home to watch it grow. We supply all the necessary materials. You provide love and care for your bulbs to thrive. Registration is required.

Having trouble doing your taxes? We can help! The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program is run by the Canada Revenue Agency. In order to be eligible for this program, individuals must have a modest income and a simple tax situation. Available at participating branches until May 14, 2023. For more details, talk to branch staff.
