Why am I required to wear a mask in the library? NS Health made masks mandatory in public spaces as of July 31, 2020.

I have holds that are waiting for pickup. What will happen to those?  You will receive a holds notice as before. You may pick your items up in person, or phone your local library to schedule a Library Take-Out appointment.

Can I return my books? Our book drops are now open; you can also return your books inside the library.

Will fines be incurred on the library materials I have at home? No. We are now fine-free on all materials.
