Winter Reading Challenge

The Winter Reading Challenge has come to an end!  Many thanks to all who participated!
We have completed the prize draws and all winners have been contacted directly.

The Annapolis Valley Regional Library's Read for a Better World Winter Reading Challenge runs from January 1 to February 28 and encourages readers of all ages to explore diversity, empathy, and action through literature. We challenge you to read at least 20 hours and keep track of your reading on our Beanstack site.

This is an all-ages reading challenge, and there are some great prizes to be won! For every hour of reading logged, you'll earn a ticket that can be used to enter one of five prize draws. Extra tickets can be earned by completing Winter Reading Challenge Activities.

We have three different Reader Bundles up for grabs and some other fun prizes too. Enter all of your tickets in one draw, or spread them around. It's up to you!

Here’s what you need to do:
1. Sign up for Beanstack (or log in if you already have an AVRL Beanstack account),
2. Join the Read for a Better World Winter Reading Challenge (you can register before January 1 if you like).
3. Start logging your reading minutes.

Ready to register? Let’s go!
