Use all your random knowledge and play for fun and prizes! Challenge your friends to a game of Trivia, played online with Kahoot! We live in a Strange & Wonderful world. This month's trivia will explore weird and wacky facts. Ages 12 to 17. Registration is required. Please provide an email address when you register.You will require a computer, tablet, or smartphone to view the questions and clues via Zoom, and to submit your answers on the Kahoot! app or website. Once registered, you will receive information on how to join the Zoom meeting, and how to access the Kahoot! quiz program. Prizes for the top three Trivia Masters!You can view AVRL's Zooming guidelines and how to create a Zoom account HERE.

Sign up for a kit and watch on Facebook Live for tips on how to create your own mandala. Kit includes all materials you will need (paint, tools, and mini-canvas). To register, please include the BRANCH where you will pick up the kit and the numbers of kits you are requesting, (in the NAME field) . Example: Sally Jolly, Bridgetown (2) For ages 12-17. Kits will be ready to pick up starting March 13.

AVRL presents a young writers workshop by Andre Fenton, an award-winning author, spoken-word artist, and arts educator who has represented Halifax at seven national poetry festivals across Canada. He is an author of two Young Adult novels, Worthy of Love from Formac Publishing, and ANNAKA from Nimbus Publishing. Through the lens of fiction and poetry, Andre has facilitated workshops at over 30 schools across Nova Scotia helping young writers and performers develop their craft. He is currently working on his third novel. Andre is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Register in advance for this webinar HERE.
